THE U&I 5 STEPS
TO CREATING GREAT CONTENT -
TO TELLING A GREAT STORY -
ON VIDEO ...ON FILM ...
FOR SCREEN ... FOR TELEVISION ...
and further ...

STEP 1 - THE SCRIPT - WRITING - SCREEN WRITING ...

- Every great story starts in somebody's mind ... IF that person is a creative WRITER, they will put that idea on paper and the idea will come to life even for the rest of us who did not think of it. So every story, you have ever seen on screen, on video, on film, on television... started in someone's mind on someone's paper and computer ... and here it is ...
When you are in the process of creating a VIDEO SHOOT of any kind and any size... it is best if it starts on paper in a script .... This will save you time and money ... and if you ignore this fundamental part of creating content ... do not say I&U did not tell you !!! ... We are here to help you write and make your great story.


STEP 2 - THE PRE-PRODUCTION PHASE ... CO-CREATION TIME ...

- This is the phase where you meet the PRODUCERS and who ever else is involved in the creation of the content, to go over the details of how the next phase is going to come to life. Where will this video be shot? Who will shoot it? Who will Direct it? Who else is needed? What equipment will be used? What will the weather be like? Indoor or Outdoor shoot? Who will wear what? What about Make-up? and so much more ... All that needs to be asked should be asked and answered at this stage ... I&U PRODUCTIONS is here to make sure all the questions have been answered ... All the details have been planned... And here comes the next phase ...

STEP 3 - THE PRODUCTION DAY ... ACTION TIME ...

- We've all heard about that saying "Lights, Camera, Action" !!! ... Well This is that time !!! But this is also where it is not just about the lights, the camera, and the action... its also about the SOUND ... Did you know that if a Video has a bad image and a good sound, people will still watch it ... But if it has a great image and a bad sound ... Well no one will bear it ! ... You have wasted your money making it !!! So ... On the production day, our job will be to make sure that we do create the great content that you want and that we do tell the great story that you had envisioned within the limits that we have set in pre-production, following the script we started with, staying within the budget allowed and so on... And mostly also making sure that it is still FUN to work with I&U ... despite all the challenges that may come up ... I&U will be looking forward to the next stage ...

STEP 4 - THE POST-PRODUCTION PHASE ...

- EDITING, Some people love it, some people hate it, for us it is part of the important jobs needed to accomplish the mission of telling your great story and creating your great content. This is the phase where all shoots, all videos all content we created will be reviewed and we learn how to create the best story we can tell with what we have shot. This is also the phase where various graphics come in, visuals, audios (VOICE - OVER) and others depending on the team's creativity and requirements of the story ... This is also the part where some of us involved in the process will have seen the content way too many times and therefore may need secondary eyes to review and give feedback before the final stages get here ... I&U has been here many times and we can see you through to the final stage ... 

STEP 5 - THE FINAL STAGE - THE DELIVERY ...

- IT'S DONE! Your video is ready for public viewing, delivery and or pick up. Your story is now in your hands... How do you want it? We can deliver it on a drive, we can send it via transfer and we can even upload it on a YouTube channel for you ... Which ever way is the best, the safest and the most cost effective way to deliver your content, that is how we will deliver it. And we look forward to working with you...
